Very Rare 1919 Reiss-Premier Drinkless Shellcraft 14

Extremely rare Reiss-Premier (Pre-Kaywoodie) Drinkless Shellcraft 14.  This is not sandblasted. The rustication is hand carved. It is absolutely beautiful. Even the bowl top is carved. This pipe is in excellent condition and would be a welcomed addition to any Kaywoodie or Reiss-Premier Collector.   Thoroughly cleaned, sanitized with alcohol, sweetened and ready to smoke. The tapered stem features the Drinkless Fitment logo and does have a hint of smoothed out tooth marks.  It is missing the Drinkless fitment.

This is a very unique forerunner that came right before Kaywoodie. The Drinkless Shellcraft pipe by Reiss Premier, the inventor of the "Drinkless” stinger. These are very rare and are of the time frame of the first Drinkless stem, before the screw on Synchrostem was invented.  Intricately hand carved rustication covering the entirety of the bowl, except for a small ring on the end of the shank and the underside of the bowl where the nomenclature is etched.  A truly rare Kaywoodie and Reiss-Premier Collectors piece. The last phot is an actual add sign for this pipe from the time period (photo only. Sign not included with pipe).
